For over ten years, Trylon has been proud to present frequent collaborative screenings with the independently owned neighborhood movie-house The Heights Theater. Located in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, it is the Twin Cities’ oldest continually operated movie theater, originally constructed in 1926 in the Beaux Arts style and specializing in first-run family films, classics and foreign releases. Two Phillips Norelco projectors handle both 35mm and 70mm formats, with a high definition digital projector for new releases and restored classics. The Heights sound system is capable of Dolby SR, Dolby Digital, four- and six- track magnetic and DTS Digital.
