TRYLON RENOVATION SUMMER 2017

The Trylon microcinema has thrived for the past eight years due to the devotion of our volunteers and you, our faithful audience. We’ve been pinching pennies while watching for the opportunity we now have—to strengthen our ability to show repertory films to larger audiences.

This summer’s renovation and expansion will increase our programming flexibility and enable us to show more 35mm film prints, as well as invite more guest speakers and better compensate the musicians who accompany our silent-film screenings.

The Trylon auditorium will grow to include double the present number of seats, a new and larger screen, and much improved accessibility for people with disabilities.

The Trylon will be closed from June 15 through mid-September.
