NIC CAGE, NATIONAL TREASURE

Summer at the Trylon Cinema

Nicolas Kim Coppola, who considers himself a lizard, a shark, and a heat-seeking panther, took the moniker of Cage after falling in love with comic-book character Luke Cage. Not only has he worked with an astonishing list of great directors, he’s also produced, directed, and worked on some of the all-time worst, and most enjoyable, films of the 21st century. No matter how ridiculous the subject matter, you can always count on Cage to commit fully to the role. And then some. This summer, we salute Nicolas Cage, a national treasure.
