Film Forever Fund
We love film and we want to show it forever.
As a nonprofit cinema, keeping our ticket rate accessible to everyone is a priority, and we’ve kept our standard ticket at $8 for 15 years. In that time the cost of 35mm film rental, shipping, projection equipment and rights clearances have all risen dramatically. We are committed to keep showing films on film. In fact, we have recently upgraded our 35mm sound equipment, which can now run Dolby 8 channel digital surround sound on many 35mm film prints. In 2025, we hope to increase our programming budget to allow for the screening of even more film prints.
Together with the Cult Film Collective, who has supported us in showing 35mm and 16mm film for nine years, we hope to raise $7,000 to be used on film print booking. That way we can show more films on film while keeping our ticket prices accessible. Help us reach our goal of continuing to show films on film. Forever.
