The Killers

(1964, 93m) dir Don Siegel w/Lee Marvin, Angie Dickinson, John Cassavetes. Two hitmen (Marvin, Cassavetes) are tasked with killing a racecar driver but are taken aback when the mark doesn’t resist. Unable to shake it, they take it upon themselves to find out more. Siegel’s remake of the Hemingway story from the hitmen’s point of view is a fascinating, thrilling ride. New Restoration!
