Samurai Wolf

Sunday, August 6–Tuesday, August 8

(1966, DCP, 75m, Japanese w/English subtitles) dir Hideo Gosha w/Isao Natsuyagi, Ryôhei Uchida, Junko Miyazono. The Vicious Wolf (Natsuyagi), a wandering ronin with a strange fighting style, happens upon a war between two factions in a remote town. This is a lean, mean B-grade samurai flick with comic overtones that punches way above its weight. New Restoration!

Promotional support for this series has been provided by Japan America Society of Minnesota.
