Punishment Park

(1971, DCP, 91m) dir Peter Watkins w/Patrick Boland, Kent Foreman, Carmen Argenziano. “Punishment Park is a Molotov cocktail of a pseudo-documentary. Dissenters, draft dodgers, and other ‘undesirables’ are hunted across a California desert by the soldiers from a conservative, violent police state. It doesn’t get much timelier!” —Matt Levine, box office volunteer since July 2010
