Me and My Brother
Friday, July 24–Sunday, July 26
(1965–68, 91m) dir Robert Frank w/Julius Orlovsky, Peter Orlovsky, Allen Ginsberg. Frank’s near impossible-to-see quasi-documentary follows Peter and his schizophrenic brother, Julius. Until it doesn’t. Meditating on ideas of truth and family and love, Me and My Brother is a gay landmark film and crucial document of 1960s bohemian life in the village. New Restoration!
