Time Traveling Mystics on mission to revitalize a desolate future; action figure musicians laying down the Funk for Resistance; a dreamstate ode to Creative Extremists; and a Swamp Monster organizing the decomposition of practices and ideologies which were never meant to for us – welcome to the staticky, grainy, peach-fuzzy layers of cross pollinating art forms and traditions at an intersection of passion, tenderness, and world building through a lens of intuitive hip hop liberation ideology. At a time when the majority of people of the Earth agree that we are collectively in desperate need of change, artists are asking ourselves where our place is in a quickly deteriorating late-stage capitalism. Have we considered enough where our place is in *opposition to the systems that are literally killing the most vulnerable among us?

With a keen mind for shrewd, outside of the box production, this short series of videos takes hip hop’s foundational tenet of raw, innovative “something from nothing” aesthetic and applies it to visual storytelling for a new age of Interdisciplinary Hip Hop Art. At the heart of this lean series is the idea that; if we are to achieve in the name of Life, Love, Dignity, & Imagination against corporate-globalist-neoliberal-shithead-fascists, we need to get ritually creative with our radicalness, and radical with our creative rituals.

Join SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE and collaborators Kat Parent, David KelseyBassett (and his SP1200), Marco Real-d’Arbelle and more for a series of music art videos that will offer sparks, fire, seeds, water, and light for anyone interested in healing and liberation.
