Dazed And Confused

(1993, 35mm, 103m) dir Richard Linklater w/Parker Posey, Matthew McConaughey, Joey Lauren Adams, Jason London. On the last day of high school in a small Texas town in 1976, students from across the social spectrum mingle, scheme, and look toward a tantalizingly uncertain future. Posey has a small but memorable role as an iron-fisted senior overseeing the ritual hazing of freshman girls. For another take on McConaughey’s role, visit Perisphere for Jay Ditzer’s speculative short story about David’s darker side.
