Quarterly at the Trylon
The Archives on Screen quarterly series highlights new restorations of beautiful, rediscovered films with a specific emphasis on silent cinema, feminist filmmaking, and political and experimental modes. Launched by Michelle Baroody and Maggie Hennefeld in 2022, Archives on Screen brings rare, unseen archival films from around the world to movie screens in the Twin Cities. Their flagship event, Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour, has celebrated two editions at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Film Society and The Heights Theater. This programming is generously supported by the IAS Imagine Fund at the University of Minnesota.
