Jim was born in the 70's, went to school in the 80's, played sports in the 90's, and has been a film journalist since the mid-2000's. He currently writes for Twin Cities Daily Planet, is the director of the Sound Unseen Music/Film/Art Festival here in the Twin Cities and is trying to finish a novel he started five years ago. Half the proceeds benefit Sound Unseen, the other half Trylon.

Indie superhero Mark Mallman has rocked the airwaves hundreds of media outlets worldwide from MTV to Pitchfork to NPR. He's been written about by Rolling Stone, USA Today, Wired, and so on. As a composer he's scored and VFX trailers for X-Men (DOFP), The Hitcher, Adventureland, and Star Trek to name a few. His charity is NAMI Hennepin.
THE DEFENDERS: KERRI MILLER

Kerri Miller joined MPR News in June 2004 as host of Midmorning (now The Daily Circuit) and Talking Volumes. Before that she was an award-winning television reporter for KARE 11. She has been a radio and television news reporter since 1981. Half of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Animal Humane Society of Woodbury.
The microcinema is our year round revival cinema, with 50 deluxe rocker seats, a 20 foot screen and a set of Century 35mm film projectors.
$25 for 5 tickets, redeemable for 1 or 2 seats at a time, up to 30 minutes before showtime.
